How the Hold and Win Bonus Game Works

This is the heart of Merry Giftmas: Hold and Win, and it is as straightforward as it is exciting:

Trigger: Land 6+ Bonus symbols, or a combination of Bonus symbols with a Collect symbol, to activate the Bonus Game.
Re-spins: You start with 3 re-spins. Every new symbol that lands resets the counter back to 3.
Sticky symbols: During the Bonus Game, all Bonus and Collect symbols that land stick in place until the round ends.
Symbol values: Bonus symbols display clear cash values tied to your total play (examples include 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, and 10x your total play).
End of round: The feature continues until re-spins run out or all positions are filled.

Collect Feature Explained

When a Collect symbol lands:

It gathers the values of every visible Bonus symbol on the reels.
It also collects any jackpot symbol values in view (Mini, Minor, Major).
In the Bonus Game, multiple Collects can drop over time, compounding the total gathered amount and creating dramatic climaxes as the re-spins reset again and again.

Pile of Gifts Feature (Base Game Surprise)

Any Bonus symbol that lands during the main game can trigger the Pile of Gifts feature. When activated, the game sprinkles extra Bonus and/or Collect symbols onto the reels—often enough to kick off the Hold and Win Bonus Game immediately. This is the slot’s festive turbo-charge: a base-game nudge that fast-tracks you to the bonus action.

In-Game Jackpots

Merry Giftmas: Hold and Win includes tiered jackpot symbols that can appear during the Bonus Game:

Mini Jackpot: awards 25x your total play
Minor Jackpot: awards 50x your total play
Major Jackpot: awards 150x your total play

These jackpot gifts can land alongside regular Bonus symbols and interact beautifully with the Collect Feature to stack up cheerful totals.

Wilds, Pays, and Line Rules

Wild symbol: Substitutes for all symbols in the main game to help complete winning combinations.
Paylines: 5 fixed paylines pay left to right; only the highest win per line is paid.
Simultaneous wins across different paylines are added together for a combined total.

Game Feel, Visuals, and Sound

Playson captures the holiday spirit with snowy cottages, glowing chimneys, and shimmering gift boxes. Golden Bonus gifts and red Collect gifts gleam on the reels, while colorful jackpot presents punctuate the action. The animations are crisp, the interface is clean, and the overall experience is snappy on both desktop and mobile (portrait and landscape). Autoplay and speed modes (Normal, Quick, Turbo, if enabled in your region) let you tailor the pace.
